Plaid & Leopard

IMG_0269IMG_0262IMG_0263IMG_0264IMG_0265IMG_0266IMG_0268IMG_0261Hello everyone, I pray that you all are doing wonderful… I know I was gone for a few months, but I am back stronger than ever by the grace of God. I took a few times off to get some things in my life situated and I was overwhelming myself with so much that i found myself lost in the midst of them all. However, the love of Christ helped me through it all. SO, I AM BACK!

To come back, I decided to wear this beautiful plaid dress coat with some leopard print heels. It was kind of hard to come up with something last minute since it was pouring but it came out pretty nice.

Hello Springs

Happy Easter my beautiful readers. Today is just a day to remind us of God’s great love for us ” For God so love the world that He gave His only son, so that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16″ He died for our sins and raised in victory. So let us rejoice because there is hope.

So this is my first post of  year. I am sorry about the long wait but I wanted a break to focus on my relationship with God.

I see that it’s already spring. Wow, time is flying… However, while I was offline I put a few outfits together for you guys. And most of you already know, I don’t really go anywhere, majority of my posts are outfits I wore to church. For this outfit, a friend of mine, who is also a blogger (kerennesview.com), went shopping and spotted this blazer and thought it looked like me so she bought it and shipped it from Boston to Florida for me. So I thought what better way to start spring than this awesome printed blazer. To put the outfit together, I focused on one color out of the blazer for the remaining pieces. The blazer already has a lot going on in it so I didn’t want to overshadow it so I picked a dark color and kept it as simple as possible.

Spring is the season for prints. So don’t be afraid to showcase the type of prints you like to wear this season. Just always remember you don’t want to clown yourself with so many colors. You can always keep it simple even with the prints. Just pick which piece of your outfit you are showcasing and keep the rest as simple as possible.

Rainy Sundays👢👢

Hello my lovely readers, hope you are all doing fashionably wonderful. Two Sundays ago I woke up clueless of what to wear so I peaked through my closet and saw that oversized blazer and I thought what the heck and wore it as a dress 😂. Then I realized that it was missing a button and my husband saved the day with a pin. Moreover, as I was stepping out, it started to rain and I saw my husband’s trench coat so I just threw it on my back. It was a comfortable, chic and vintage outfit. It took me a little longer than usual to put together because I was so tired and I was not feeling it but thank God my husband was there to lift me up. So kudos to you babe😘!

We all have those days where we wake up and don’t want to even bother but best thing to do is just believe in yourself, throw anything on and know that you will rock it no matter what… We are fashionistas after all 😏!!!

I hope that everyone had a great holiday weekend. While you are looking forward to welcome the new week, here is a little something to help you put together an outfit, maybe for your dress down day. Casual looks do not have to be boring. It can be chic, elegant and very comfortable. I actually created this outfit to attend church. It’s not a usual church look, it was my first time trying it and I am looking forward to dress like this more often now. The flared jeans brought a sensual and edgy side to the look and they fit very well, and the jacket kept it chic and most presentable. What I love about this outfit is that it can be worn at the office and can also be worn to a get together or any other events. Just remember to always be yourself and keep a great attitude.

Nude City

I hope fall has been treating everyone great so far. As for me, Florida’s weather has been splendid thus far. It’s not too hot because it’s a little windy which makes it perfect and much more easier to build a wardrobe. For this outfit, I wore it to church last Sunday and it has to be one of my favorite outfits ever. I am in love with the nude and the fact that the location where I took the pictures matches the outfit makes it even better. Moreover, I was worried a little while putting this outfit together because I was trying to get all the nudes to match but they came out different shades anyway. However, I was still able to pull it off.
Nude is one of the fewest colors that can be styled with any other color. So always remember, if you are planning on wearing nude, you can accessorize it with any other color(s) of your choice. Also keep in mind to be fierce and confident with whatever you wear because your attitude is the best accessory of your outfit.
