Plaid & Leopard

IMG_0269IMG_0262IMG_0263IMG_0264IMG_0265IMG_0266IMG_0268IMG_0261Hello everyone, I pray that you all are doing wonderful… I know I was gone for a few months, but I am back stronger than ever by the grace of God. I took a few times off to get some things in my life situated and I was overwhelming myself with so much that i found myself lost in the midst of them all. However, the love of Christ helped me through it all. SO, I AM BACK!

To come back, I decided to wear this beautiful plaid dress coat with some leopard print heels. It was kind of hard to come up with something last minute since it was pouring but it came out pretty nice.

I hope that everyone had a great holiday weekend. While you are looking forward to welcome the new week, here is a little something to help you put together an outfit, maybe for your dress down day. Casual looks do not have to be boring. It can be chic, elegant and very comfortable. I actually created this outfit to attend church. It’s not a usual church look, it was my first time trying it and I am looking forward to dress like this more often now. The flared jeans brought a sensual and edgy side to the look and they fit very well, and the jacket kept it chic and most presentable. What I love about this outfit is that it can be worn at the office and can also be worn to a get together or any other events. Just remember to always be yourself and keep a great attitude.

Happy Thanksgiving beauties! As you all are getting ready to go eat with your loved ones, don’t forget to say a prayer for the ones eating alone and the ones without anything to eat at all. Moreover, I know many of you are contemplating on whether to dress up or not. I mean why not! It is always okay to dress up and look good. So, don’t mind what others have to say. Get up, dress up and show up to that thanksgiving dinner with all eyes on you. If you are going to give thanks, do it the right way. Let them stare, whether with stink or pleasuring eyes. Just keep being you and keep slaying!

It is raining outside and Hallmark is on and i think to myself why not upload something on here since I have multiple outfits on hold to be published. I don’t want to overwhelm you guys because I know I just published something yesterday but you won’t be disappointing. This dress is so beautiful. It actually only cost me $6 so yes it’s from a thrift store. Picture quality are not perfect because I took these pictures at night, I was going to a Nick Vujicic conference. Can I say, it was one of the greatest nights of my life! So many people got saved, Heaven was rejoicing. As for my outfit, I kept it as simple as possible, very formal and chic with a little hint of pink.

You cannot go through fall without one of those sexy khaki suede skirts. They are so comfortable and easy to manage. It can be worn to any casual event whether day or night. For my outfit, I put it together to attend a birthday dinner. Styling it was quite easy I must say. In fact, it shouldn’t take you long when putting a wardrobe together. You just have to know yourself and know what’s in your closet then everything else will come easily. Also in this outfit, I am wearing some sexy thigh-high suede and laced boots… Can I say these shoes were made to walk! Plus, they are very chic and can be styled for any occasion. So, yes I definitely recommend them. Therefore, don’t let fall get away without those two items, the skirt and the boots, in your closet!
