The Process

First: Measure the pillow that you are going to use to get the best fitting for your case.

Second: Use a sharp pair of scissors to cut through the fur.

Third: Use a needle and a color for the thread that matches the color of the fur

Fourth: Start sewing your case.

S.N.: If you don’t want the corner of the rug to show, bend it inward as you sew…

Success

Hello Hello Hello everyone… By the grace of the Almighty, we made it through the week now we are making our way to attack the weekend. So, I pray that you all make it through safe. I did a little DIY for you guys and I hope that you find it easy to do on your own.

I’ve always wanted to have some fur pillows but everywhere I went they were too expensive. So I have decided to make my own fur pillow. Last night, I went to Ross and found the perfect faux fur rug and the first thing that came to my mind was “hmmmm i can make my pillows with this.” And the awesome thing about it is that, IT DID NOT BREAK MY WALLET, LOL. It only costs me $24.99 plus tax. For pillows, I had some extra ones on my couch, so I ended up using them. All in all, it was pretty easy and time consuming. It took me about 3-4 hours to do both pillows. However, I am happy of the outcome. I hope you enjoy them and try to make it instead of spending a lot of money just to get one fur pillow.

Au Revoir 2015๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰

As we go through the last couple of days in 2015, let’s take a look back to how amazing God has been. Through the sorrows and the happiness God remained faithful. So let’s welcome 2016 with joy and praise for Our Father is already there preparing it for us to have another great year.

This outfit may be the last one I post here for the year. Not sure yet lol! In this outfit, I had to make some adjustments to make it what I wanted it to look like. The dress is a plain black dress and I felt like it was missing something. So I pulled my miscellaneous drawer and saw this burgundy fringed accessory and I just tied it around my waist. I finished the look with a pair of thigh-high boots and a clutch that coordinated all the colors I had on together. It is okay to think inside the box and bring your imaginary thoughts to life. Be different, be creative and let’s represent our Savior in style.

Fall, Fun & Sexy

What other ways can you say fun and sexy than an off-shoulder garment. This little dress has to be one of the sexiest piece of clothing I own. It’s so sexy, playful and it adds a little bohemian taste to the look. And yes I did put this outfit together for church. It is okay to switch it up a bit when going to church or any other places. Have some fun with your closet, create different looks and still keep your signature style. Think of art, different in many ways but make sure when someone looks at it, he/she sees you.

Baseball Cap & Leather Tights

Greetings everyone, hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and getting ready to welcome the week with a positive and creative mindset. I put this fit together to go to an orientation at my church, I’m trying to get into the children’s ministry. ย On that particular day, it was storming so I created the look based on that weather. I wanted to be comfortable, cozy and chic, so I threw on a pair of black leather tights and black long blouse. Then I completed it with a gray waist coat, some black ankle boots and I was having a bad hair day so I threw on a baseball cap. And of course I carried my new favorite black purse. I love black, it is such an elegant color plus it’s universal. So if you are still in the loop on what to wear this week, keep in mind that you can never go wrong with black. Black has no season. Also, there is no such thing as too much black, just keep it classy and comfortable. And if you are going for more of a casual look, keep it chic and simple.
