Plaid & Leopard

IMG_0269IMG_0262IMG_0263IMG_0264IMG_0265IMG_0266IMG_0268IMG_0261Hello everyone, I pray that you all are doing wonderful… I know I was gone for a few months, but I am back stronger than ever by the grace of God. I took a few times off to get some things in my life situated and I was overwhelming myself with so much that i found myself lost in the midst of them all. However, the love of Christ helped me through it all. SO, I AM BACK!

To come back, I decided to wear this beautiful plaid dress coat with some leopard print heels. It was kind of hard to come up with something last minute since it was pouring but it came out pretty nice.

The Cape

Greetings My beloved readers… Has anyone of you see the Batman vs Superman movie yet! Allow me to say, it was indeed a great movie. I am team SUPERMAN, so I am looking forward for the next one. In addition, my outfit was inspired by the movie. I know you see my cape lol, I may not be able to fly with it but I looked pretty fly with it lol.

Anyway, as a Christian, I struggle a lot with what is appropriate to wear or not. Now I just leave it up to God to help me find the next outfit. Yes, I pray on what to wear too, because as a woman of God I cannot look just anyhow. Also in His Words He says “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you. Psalm 32:8” When you allow God to come live in your heart, He will transform you for His glory to be done in your life. Don’t get dress to impress this world, get dress to impress our Father.

Grandma Hat & Faux Fur

IMG_0022 IMG_0025 IMG_0028 IMG_0030 IMG_0027 IMG_0024IMG_0033IMG_0034IMG_0021 IMG_0032 IMG_0020    IMG_0023 IMG_0031 IMG_0029 IMG_0026 IMG_0035So I have the tendency of buying things that people would ignore when shopping, which is what makes my style so unique. For this outfit, I walked into a thrift store and the first thing I saw was that hat. I immediately thought of my Nanna because she loved wearing those hats. I purchased it right away and I decided to style in my Nanna’s honor before I send it for her to Haiti. Styling it was not so hard at all. After I figured out what I wanted to wear with the hat, everything else was just a walk in the a park. The shoes correlated to both the hat and the dress. Then I spiced it up with a nice short sleeves/faux fur coat, furred clutch and a beautiful faux purled necklace. I try my best to keep my outfits as simple as possible so my readers don’t have a hard time in case they try to recreate them. However, let yourself be inspired so you can inspire. Inspiration is the key to a creative mind.

Nude City

I hope fall has been treating everyone great so far. As for me, Florida’s weather has been splendid thus far. It’s not too hot because it’s a little windy which makes it perfect and much more easier to build a wardrobe. For this outfit, I wore it to church last Sunday and it has to be one of my favorite outfits ever. I am in love with the nude and the fact that the location where I took the pictures matches the outfit makes it even better. Moreover, I was worried a little while putting this outfit together because I was trying to get all the nudes to match but they came out different shades anyway. However, I was still able to pull it off.
Nude is one of the fewest colors that can be styled with any other color. So always remember, if you are planning on wearing nude, you can accessorize it with any other color(s) of your choice. Also keep in mind to be fierce and confident with whatever you wear because your attitude is the best accessory of your outfit.
