Plaid & Leopard

IMG_0269IMG_0262IMG_0263IMG_0264IMG_0265IMG_0266IMG_0268IMG_0261Hello everyone, I pray that you all are doing wonderful… I know I was gone for a few months, but I am back stronger than ever by the grace of God. I took a few times off to get some things in my life situated and I was overwhelming myself with so much that i found myself lost in the midst of them all. However, the love of Christ helped me through it all. SO, I AM BACK!

To come back, I decided to wear this beautiful plaid dress coat with some leopard print heels. It was kind of hard to come up with something last minute since it was pouring but it came out pretty nice.

As we go through the last couple of days in 2015, let’s take a look back to how amazing God has been. Through the sorrows and the happiness God remained faithful. So let’s welcome 2016 with joy and praise for Our Father is already there preparing it for us to have another great year.

This outfit may be the last one I post here for the year. Not sure yet lol! In this outfit, I had to make some adjustments to make it what I wanted it to look like. The dress is a plain black dress and I felt like it was missing something. So I pulled my miscellaneous drawer and saw this burgundy fringed accessory and I just tied it around my waist. I finished the look with a pair of thigh-high boots and a clutch that coordinated all the colors I had on together. It is okay to think inside the box and bring your imaginary thoughts to life. Be different, be creative and let’s represent our Savior in style.

It is raining outside and Hallmark is on and i think to myself why not upload something on here since I have multiple outfits on hold to be published. I don’t want to overwhelm you guys because I know I just published something yesterday but you won’t be disappointing. This dress is so beautiful. It actually only cost me $6 so yes it’s from a thrift store. Picture quality are not perfect because I took these pictures at night, I was going to a Nick Vujicic conference. Can I say, it was one of the greatest nights of my life! So many people got saved, Heaven was rejoicing. As for my outfit, I kept it as simple as possible, very formal and chic with a little hint of pink.

Grandma Hat & Faux Fur

IMG_0022 IMG_0025 IMG_0028 IMG_0030 IMG_0027 IMG_0024IMG_0033IMG_0034IMG_0021 IMG_0032 IMG_0020ย ย ย  IMG_0023 IMG_0031 IMG_0029 IMG_0026 IMG_0035So I have the tendency of buying things that people would ignore when shopping, which is what makes my style so unique. For this outfit, I walked into a thrift store and the first thing I saw was that hat. I immediately thought of my Nanna because she loved wearing those hats. I purchased it right away and I decided to style in my Nanna’s honor before I send it for her to Haiti. Styling it was not so hard at all. After I figured out what I wanted to wear with the hat, everything else was just a walk in the a park. The shoes correlated to both the hat and the dress. Then I spiced it up with a nice short sleeves/faux fur coat, furred clutch and a beautiful faux purled necklace. I try my best to keep my outfits as simple as possible so my readers don’t have a hard time in case they try to recreate them. However, let yourself be inspired so you can inspire. Inspiration is the key to a creative mind.
